Let me tell you about Ed Dale, an Australian (guess he can’t help that) web thingy doer person. He and his team specialise in teaching web newbies how to make money on-line.
About a year ago I was a newcomer to a social media service called Twitter and feeling my way around and frankly not really understanding what it was all about. By chance I watched an Ed Dale YouTube video about Twitter and suddenly it all made sense. And so I went off to find more about this character.
Hey – what I found was good – very, VERY good. (more…)
I have just let this blog evolve. I purposely didn’t write a tight description because to be honest I couldn’t rely upon myself to stick to one theme. Calling it a blog about ‘Life’ was as close as I could get.
Now that I am some way down the road though I can look at the content and see that it reflects more or less what my business life is about. I love techie things but am passionate about applying the cutting edge tech stuff with my real interest – healthy body and mind and self improvement of any kind.
I also notice that there is little about my domestic life – which is not deliberate as I am fairly open about all areas of my life – so maybe I will weave in a few more personal posts over the coming months.
But not today…..
Now it seems incredible to me that I hadn’t even heard of Ed Dale just a month ago and yet here I am putting him first on my list of people I would most recommend to my friends to learn the Internet selling game.
This is the best advice I can give – at this moment in time – to any newcomer to the world of selling products on-line. Get on Ed Dale’s 30 Day Challenge
The web has changed remarkably in the last two or three years and probably the most significant factor is that you no longer need to have a central website to make things happen – it is actually better that you are actively out there getting into communities that suit your lifestyle and with your peers. Ed Dale has captured this change perfectly and has a refreshing new honest approach to web training
When I say that Ed Dale is the guy to look out for to help you achieve things on the web it isn’t strictly true. He has a team that work together incredibly well. There is Dan Raine and Rob Somerville to name but two. There may be more but – well – I have only known about this dude a short time. (more…)
One of the keys to success at selling products on the Internet is to identify who the Good Guys of the Internet Marketing world are and learn from them.
In the title of this posting I have added the words ‘Important Blog’ for a reason. I really want you to learn some lessons that it has taken me a long time to discover. Over the next few days I will give you a real short cut to some great people who have deservedly won my admiration. I want you to understand why I am a fan of these people.
I will start with a brief potted history so that you know that I have the right credentials to be giving you any advice at all. (more…)
I am Twittering and not totally sure why yet but I am taking advice. But first of all let me explain how this has come about.
I am totally changing things around here. I am absolutely fed up to the back teeth with all the hypey, must have 5 minute wonders that pass as major ground breaking product launches.
My e-mails are swamped with messages from the same spammy IM characters – who have a friend, who has made pots of money, and is now launching the secrets of how that was all achieved etc etc etc etc etc etc.
I actually bought into some of that hype in the past.
So decision time. Who are to be my mentors? – who do I respect the opinion of? (more…)
